50th Reunion
Fifty years in one page is almost impossible, but here goes. After grad,I worked at UF, met Bill Hinman and married him in June, 1961. We’ve lived in El Paso, Tx, Maryville, Tenn., and Orlando until retirement. We have 3 children and 8 grandchildren. After the girls were in school, I decided to go back to college and was in my Junior year when our son, Doug, was bom. When he was 2, I returned and finished in Nursing. Worked until retirement at Fl. Hospital in Orlando, always in Critical Care.
Bill & I have always spent time with our family, teaching lots of kids how to ski or fish. Since retirement, we travel – 4-5 month trips out West in February or March (Love to snowmobile). I travel with girlfriends sometimes to places he doesn’t want to go – Europe and Israel. I now play bridge, do crafts, church work and Gideons Int. I was that “Bad Mom” who took my kids out of school to go shrimping all night and for a day skiing on Lake Conway..-No Regrets!
We now live in N. Ga. Mountains, love the seasons! I pray that God will continue to bless Bill& I with good health and may you have the same.
