Married Dec. ’61. Jack was in the Air Force 4 yrs – we lived in Georgia, Kentucky and Indiana. Jack was employed with the V. A. Hospital in Marion Ind. & transferred to Gainesville, Fla. In ’67, he entered Lake City Jr. College and has transferred to the University of West Fla, Pensacola.
50th Reunion
To My Classmates of 1960
I’m here to share with you what an Awesome God we have he has truely blessed my life.
In Dec 1961 I married Jack Butler he was in the Air Force and served 4 years at the end of his duty we moved back to Lake City where Jack attended Lake City Jr College; he transfered his credits to the University of West Flortda (Pensacola, Fl). The Lord opened the doors for him to take a job at Woodham High School where he taught school for 10 years.
During this time we had 3 children 2 sons and 1 daughter. I was a stay at home Mother. Also during this time Jack & I started a business on the side selling used cars Butler Motors ( teacher’s salary didn’t go very for). In 1977 we formed a corporation and opened Butler Auto Recycling, Inc. God has blessed our business it is still growing we now have over 50 employees. Both of our son’s work in the business. We are both working Jack full time me part time. Our daughter and son-law have their own business too.
Due to God’s blessing us we have 3 grandsons and 1 granddaughter no great’s yet.
We have been able to travel to all 50 states, Holland, Greece, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Canada, our cruises have taken us to Panama Canal, South America, the Virgin Islands, Mexico, Alaska.
Our hobbies are traveling and riding Jack’s Harley Motorcycle. GOD IS GREAT!!!!
